Barry Turner is the Director of Government Relations in Ottawa for Ducks Unlimited Canada ( DUC ). DUC is a private, non-profit organization that conserves, restores, and manages wetlands and associated habitats for waterfowl. These habitats also benefit other wildlife and people. Before joining DUC in 1999, Barry was an adjudicator with the Public Service Staff Relations Board after serving a term in Parliament from 1984-88. He worked with the Conference Board of Canada, Ottawa, Ashbury College, Ottawa, the Canadian International Development Agency ( CIDA ) and Parks Canada. His first job after university graduation in 1969 was as a Game Warden in Tanzania with CUSO.
