Chad Schella
Director
Chad Schella is the Director, Government Affairs for Canada Post and has been committed to Roger’s House since day one. Chad has worked for the Ottawa Senators Hockey Club as the Director of Player Services and before that, at the Sens Foundation as the Director of Community and Corporate Relations. In this role, he was tasked with assisting in the fundraising, construction and establishment of Roger’s House.
Growing up in Peterborough, Ontario, Chad worked for many summers at Roger Neilson’s Hockey Camp and considered Roger to be a very special part of his life until his passing in June 2003. Chad attended Bishop’s University in Lennoxville, Quebec and after graduation, has worked in both Ottawa and Toronto in a number of capacities including almost 5 years on Parliament Hill for the Hon. Jean Charest and the Rt. Hon. Joe Clark, the Canadian Construction Association, the Royal Canadian Golf Association and Pro-Pharma Contract Selling Services Inc. before joining the Ottawa Senators Foundation and then Hockey Club.
Outside of work, Chad is engaged in numerous local charitable organizations and lives just west of Ottawa with his wife, Catherine Clark, and their two young children.
